DANIEL HOUZE is a leading musical director, concert producer and technology advisor for Catholic churches in the Southern California area. His most recent projects involve integrating New Media into the liturgical experience, in addition to developing “all-in-one” solutions for webcasting various Catholic church services & events.

Musician & Musical Director

Dan has played piano/keys on stage with many orchestras across the United States, including the Cleveland Orchestra, National Symphony, Phoenix Symphony, and Utah Symphony Orchestra. He has also performed and/or contracted instrumentals & vocals for such names as: Barry Manilow, Avenged Sevenfold, Warner Bros. “Bugs Bunny on Broadway”, Russell Watson, Grammy-award winning arranger Victor Vanacore, Leanna Brand, David Low, Christopher Ward, and Catholic composers/artists John Angotti, Bob Hurd, Ed Archer and John Flaherty. Dan is also honored to be the Musical Director for the Our Lady of the Angels Pastoral Region here in Los Angeles.

Concert Producer & Manager

Dan was Producer of the world famous Ojai Music Festival in 2006, featuring Dawn Upshaw and the Atlanta Symphony Orch & Chorus. Prior to Ojai, he was Tour Director for the Guitar Foundation of America and Llangollen Music Festival’s choir-of-the-world winner Cal State University Northridge Singers. Most recently, Dan produced concerts for the 2009 & 2010 Los Angeles Religious Education Congress and John Angotti‘s West Coast & Ireland tours.
